Face mask with organic honey

Face Mask Kitchen Mudfest is a deeply cleansing and calming face mask with organic honey from the beekeeper and bentonite clay. The mask is 100% natural and easy to make. The package contains enough for about 4 to 5 face masks. Bentonite clay is a very soft mineral clay that is extracted from volcanic ash. A face mask with bentonite clay absorbs fat and dirt from the skin and leaves smooth and soft skin. Honey has a calming and cleansing effect on the skin. Raw honey is naturally antibacterial and helps heal the skin in a natural way. Our organic raw honey comes directly from the beekeeper and has therefore retained all natural active substances. Afterwards, your skin is cleansed and your face feels silky soft! Bentonite clay is very mild and therefore suitable for all skin types.

Bentonite Clay

When Bentonite Clay comes into contact with a liquid, something changes in the composition of the clay. This creates the ability to absorb toxins. Bentonite clay absorbs oil and dirt from the pores. It makes the skin smoother, tighter and softer, causing fine lines to fade. Suitable for both dry and oily skin. Do you want to know more about Bentonite Clay? Raw Honey

DIYS Soap works together with beekeeper Dirk Jan Binnenveld who has been selling cold-tossed organic honey from Leiden flowers in Cronesteyn's Hof for more than 20 years. Dirk Jan beekeepers with black honey bees, so-called Carnica bees. The bees build their own comb, making it possible to deliver the honey with comb. The own production of the 20 bee colonies is usually not enough to meet the demand for local honey, which is why Dirk Jan buys honey from beekeepers from Leiden and the surrounding area. Trusted professionals, who place the same high demands on the quality of the honey and handle their bees with care. The taste of the honey is determined by the nectar that the bees collect: in the spring when the linden blossom blooms, the honey harvest is light and fruity, at the end of the summer the honey is darker and deeper in taste. These nuances make it such a special product. The honey in the products of DIYS Soap can therefore differ in color at a time.

That bees can sting is well known. Everyone knows that bees make honey. What not everyone knows is that bees are particularly useful and occupy a very special place in the food chain. The bee is the main pollinator. 80% of all crops in the Netherlands are pollinated by bees. When collecting nectar and pollen, the bee flies from flower to flower, in which case the sticky pollen lingers on the hairy body of the bee, which then takes it to the next flower. Bees are therefore indispensable.
